Innocent Paws Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue devoted to helping mother dogs and their pups move out of overcrowded shelters and into loving homes. Our mission is to help decompress high volume overcrowded shelters and reduce euthanasia rates by removing vulnerable mother pups and their litters, and motherless litters from these environments. Once removed we provide nurturing foster environments and any needed medical attention and emotional support to ready them for adoption. From there our goal is to connect these pups with a well matched, loving, and committed family. Without the help of generous donors we would not be able to do this work.
According to the ASPCA 6.5 million companion animals end up in shelters across the country each year. Of those, 3.3 million are dogs. Only half of the dogs entering the shelter environment escape euthanasia. Our vision is to find permanent homes for the pups we rescue and support our new pups and their owners to prevent the likelihood of the pups returning to the shelter environment through education and community resources. Thanks to our shelter partners, fosters, and adopters we were able to save 159 pups from euthanasia in 2019!
Your generous contributions enable us to rescue and rehome vulnerable pups.
